Understanding Digitizing
Digitizing is an art and science that will allow us to turn your logo, graphic or artwork into embroidery. A logo, which is made up of dots of color, has to be turned into lines of thread. If this is done with skill, each element of the logo stands out in almost 3d, and each one is easily distinguished from the others.
To understand how important this is, look at the embroidery piece from our showroom. Notice how the each element in the design is distinct and stands out from the elements behind it.

Now look at the close-up of the humming bird. Notice how just the right amount of outline defines the bird and even suggests a curve to the wing. Notice how the direction of the thread is used in the elements to provide distinction and even suggest movement. Also notice how the gradient (color slowly fading from dark to light) in the word Morgan's is simulated by clever use of small differences in thread color.

This is where Morgan’s Monograms experience and talent makes all the difference in your embroidered garment.
To digitize your image, Morgan’s uses special software to change the colored areas of an image to convert it into thread stitches. While doing this they use their considerable talent and years of experience to modify the direction thickness of each element of the image.
